Business Development Representative

An Xogenous Business Development Representative must have high-energy, self-motivation, and a desire to succeed. You will generate leads, driving demand for our market-leading IT services, with cold-calling and email messages. You must thrive in a fast-paced, high-activity environment, and be willing to spend significant time on the phone and in email. You will contact prospective customers, research companies, set appointments for our experienced Sales Representatives, and keep our sales CRM system up-to-date as an integral part of the sales team.

Candidates must have excellent computer, organizational and communications skills, display a professional appearance, and work in our Carson City office on weekdays during core business hours. You must be willing to learn about and remain current on the latest advancements in computers and data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline
  • Make an average of 100-150 outbound calls daily on targeted companies
  • Promptly respond to and qualify inbound marketing leads
  • Help create and prioritize target account lists
  • Research and build new account records within our sales CRM system including adding contacts, company information, and other relevant data
  • Acquire key prospect data from prospect conversations and online sources, accurately recording information
  • Schedule initial sales presentations for experienced Sales Representatives
  • Prospect, educate and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities
  • Attain or exceed performance metrics on dials, profiles, appointments, and conversions to qualified opportunities
  • Keep abreast of the industry and company offerings becoming a trusted resource to prospects

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 0-2 years sales prospecting experience
  • Ability to carefully track activity within our sales CRM system
  • Technical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent follow-up – Strong written (email) and oral (phone) communication skills
  • Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, and Outlook – Able to generate and qualify excellent customer opportunities

Compensation includes a base with performance bonuses. On-target earnings of $50K plus can be attained in the first year.

Sales Representative

An Xogenous Sales Representative must have business-to-business sales experience in cloud and managed services, computer hardware, data storage, or the software industries. You must have successfully prospected, developed and maintained accounts in a B2B consultative selling environment. Representatives must be tenacious, results oriented, enjoy cold-call marketing, and have an energetic attitude to sell our services.

Candidates must have excellent computer, organizational and communications skills, display a professional appearance, and have reliable transportation. You must be willing to learn about and remain current on the latest advancements in computers and data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business through prospecting and self-generated leads
  • Recommend appropriate solutions to meet customer needs
  • Promptly respond to prospective customer telephone calls and emails
  • Monitor and keep our sales CRM system current with opportunity forecasting
  • Schedule events, call-backs and follow-ups within our CRM system
  • Meet or exceed monthly individual sales goals
  • Consistently represent the company in a professional manner
  • Participate in marketing events including trade shows and seminars
  • Prepare & deliver presentations, proposals and sales contracts

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 3-5 years technology sales experience
  • Proven ability to attain monthly sales quota

Senior Network Administrator / Architect

The successful candidate must demonstrate initiative and will be energetic, detail-oriented, self-motivated, disciplined, organized, and will take ownership of all assigned tasks. You will work independently and in a team environment. The candidate will also be expected to prioritize and execute projects and tasks in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented and will possess the ability to multi-task while working well with others. The successful candidate will also be able to quickly identify network, system and user issues and provide quick resolution.

  • Excellent communication skills including oral and written presentation
  • Experience and knowledge of the following: Server 2003/2008, SQL Server 2005/2008, Active Directory, Exchange Server 2010, DHCP, DNS, VMware, Linux and Symantec End-Point.
  • Experience with T-SQL: be able to write: Queries/Views, Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions, Triggers (Strongly Preferred).
  • Experience implementing, supporting and managing network devices such as firewalls, routers, switches and virtual switches.
  • Manage IP-Phone System: Add, move, and make necessary changes to a Mitel 5000 System.
  • Manage the Helpdesk assignment queue through the request tracking system and apply good time management skills. You must be able to balance end-user support requests, projects and increasingly complex issues.
  • Design, implement, and document network services. • Maintain, manage and update hardware/software based on organization’s needs.
  • Network monitoring and incident response.
  • Perform scheduled and emergency network maintenance.
  • Be resourceful and handle issues with little or no supervision while using good judgment.
  • Assist the Systems Director with all other advanced IT projects including technology upgrades to the company infrastructure or other special projects.
  • 24/7 on-call availability for escalation issues with critical company services.
  • Some lifting 50lbs +/- (desktops, routers, switches, etc.) may be required.
  • Desired certifications: MCP, MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, VCP

Job Duties: Take customer case escalations from our customer support organization, trouble shoot and resolve customer issues, communicate resolutions and progress using a case management system.

  • Network monitoring and incident response • Implement, support, and manage network devices
  • Perform scheduled and emergency network maintenance
  • Assist in the design and implementation of custom network implementations to meet customer deadlines
  • Deploy and manage network management and monitoring systems
  • Some night, morning, and weekend work will be required.

Xogenous is looking for self motivated individuals with good customer service skills for a computer / network position. You will  provide technical consulting, hosted solutions, and facilities management services to small and medium sized businesses throughout the area. We are looking for a technical individual who can provide support to customers and help maintain workstations and equipment in the data center. The applicant must have reliable transportation, a strong work ethic, an enthusiastic attitude, willingness to accept a challenge, solid work references, and be available to occasionally work weekends and evenings. IT experience is required and compensation will be dependent on skills and experience.
